Pick-N-Pull, a $200+ million, fast-growing division of Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc., is seeking an individual that is passionate about cars to be our Car Buyer in the Arkansas area. Schnitzer is a 100 year old publicly traded company with revenues in excess of $1.5 billion. Pick-N-Pull is focused on consolidating the highly fragmented recycled auto parts market.

As a car buyer, you will be responsible for contacting and developing leads, closing deals and ongoing servicing of multiple vendor accounts within a geographic territory. You will research markets, determine primary decision makers and make presentations to internal and external vendors, including top-level decision makers. It's an exciting career with unlimited potential, and our standards are high.

So, what will it take to be successful?

• Three years outside purchasing or sales experience in the automotive industry
  

   

• Experience with Auto Auctions
  

   

• Superior customer service skills
  

   

• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  

   

• Energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity
  

   

• A desire to move up the ladder
  

   

• Good driving record and insurable by company standards
